Today I want to welcome Joyce Schmalz from The Skinny Pear to my blog! Joyce will be a regular contributor, sharing awesome Paleo recipes, twice a month! You can connect with her on her Facebook page, Twitter, or her blog.
Pesto is an amazing thing to have at your fingertips. It is so easy to make and is full of refreshing ingredients.
A great pesto can infuse flavor into what might be a boring dish. Pestos are amazing for creating layers of flavor and a pesto can really be anything. It’s simply fusing flavors together, pesto combinations are unlimited.
Most pestos typically have pine nuts in them, but as I combed through my pantry, I didn’t have any and I could have substituted some other nuts in it, but I just didn’t think that walnuts or almonds would work in this one.
